Painting has always been my first love. I worked with all different mediums, but painting continues to be my passion. When I was young I was intrigued by the Abstract Expressionists, and the Impressionists. I loved their sense of color and light. when I started working in the theatre I had the pleasure of reproducing master works such as Tiepolo, Fraggonard, and John Singer Seargent. I started to appreciate Classical Realism, and continue to study Dutch, French and Italian masters. I have honed my technical skills, but I still want to retain a sense of energy and movement.
